Support Package Overview

We value every person in the organisation and we want to reward you for your commitment and support during this transition. Here are the initiatives we're introducing for the next 12 months:

1. Additional 5 Days of Leave (One-Off)

What:
Five additional days of paid leave

When:
Granted immediately after relocation and accessible for one year without rollover

Eligibility: 
All ACE and ECI employees

Purpose:
Extra time with family, friends, and interests during the transition period

How to Access:
Leave will be added to your annual leave balance automatically. Book through normal leave request process.

2. Work From Home Arrangements

What:
Flexible work-from-home option

Who:
Office-based staff in eligible roles

Frequency:
Two days per week (standard arrangement)

How it Works:

  • Arrange with your direct supervisor

  • Maintain productivity and communication standards

  • IT equipment and support provided where needed.

3. Flexible Working Hours
(Start Early – Finish Early)

What:
Earlier start time options to beat traffic and finish earlier

Who:
Workshop crew and operations staff

Options:
Shifts starting from ~ 5:00 AM available (exact timing to be determined during the active relocation

How it Works:

  • Schedule options will be designed in consultation with working groups

  • Multiple shift patterns to accommodate different preferences

  • Maintain operational requirements while maximising flexibility


Note:
Final shift arrangements will be confirmed through the Operations & Equipment working group in February 2026.

4. Travel Allowance

What:
Financial support to offset increased commuting costs

Who:
Employees whose straight-line distance between home and work increases by more than 15 km

Based on:
Residential address on record as of 17 December 2025
 
Tier 1: 15-30 km increase

  • $2,500 travel allowance
    (paid over 12 months)

  • $208 per month through payroll

  • Starts: February 2026 payroll

  • Ends: January 2027 payroll

Tier 2: Over 30 km increase

  • $5,000 travel allowance
    (paid over 12 months)

  • $417 per month through payroll

  • Starts: February 2026 payroll

  • Ends: January 2027 payroll


How Distance is Calculated:

  • Straight-line distance from your home address to the facility

  • Comparison between old location (Wangara/Henderson) and new location (Canning Vale)

  • Based on residential address in company records as of 17 December 2025

Important Notes:

  • Travel allowance is paid evenly through monthly payroll

  • Taxed as normal income

  • Continues for 12 months following relocation (through January 2027)

  • Address changes after 17 December 2025 do not affect eligibility

5. Retention Bonus - AVAILABLE TO FULL TIME EMPLOYEES

What:
A one-time retention bonus to recognise commitment through the relocation and stabilisation period.

When:
Paid after 12 months of continued employment following completion of the move timeline, in early 2027.​

What “after the move timeline” means:

​The 12-month period begins once active relocation is completed and operations are fully reinstated at Uppsala Place. This marks the formal end of the move and the start of the retention period.

Eligibility - clarified:
All employees who remain employed with ACE Group for 12 months after the move timeline is completed are eligible for the retention bonus.

Eligibility is not based on commute distance.

Retention Bonus Amount

  • $5,000 retention bonus for all eligible employees

  • Paid within three months of completion as a lump sum after of the 12-month period (early 2027)

Conditions

  • Must remain in continuous employment with ACE Group through the full 12-month period following completion of the move

  • Paid as a lump sum
